Secret Chefs helps people discover restaurants recommended by chefs. This policy explains what we collect during the TestFlight and early release period, how we use it, and how to contact us.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may process:
- Basic account information if you sign in.
- Restaurant saves, wishlist items, visited status, and preferences.
- Approximate location if you grant location access for nearby discovery.
- Device, diagnostics, and usage information needed to improve reliability.
- Links or restaurant information you submit for curation.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate the app, personalize restaurant discovery, improve curation quality, respond to support requests, and maintain safety and reliability.
Third-Party Services
The app and curation workflow may use service providers such as Apple, Google Places, Firecrawl, Exa, Notion, Expo, and hosting or analytics providers. These services process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Location
Location access is optional. If enabled, it is used to help show nearby restaurants and location-aware recommendations. You can disable location access in iOS Settings at any time.
Account Deletion and Support
During TestFlight, account deletion and data export requests are handled manually. Email support@secretchefs.app with your request.
